ACKHSA bandh on Sunday to disrupt Sonia Gandhi rally in Silchar

Silchar, April 7: All Cachar Karimganj Hailakandi Students’ Association (ACKHSA) calls a 12 hour Cachar bandh as will as Janata curfew on April 12, to protest Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi’s visit. Sonia Gandhi is scheduled to address an election rally for Santosh Mohan Dev on that day. ACKHSA president Rupam Nandi Purkayastha said, in spite of their demand for Silchar-Lumding broad-gauge and East-West Corridor Highway, the government has not paid any heed to their cry till now.
