BJP leader Bimalangsu Roy died

GUWAHATI, July 3: The AGP-BJP State Coordination Committee held a meeting today to prepare the agenda for the forthcoming civic polls in Asom. The meeting was presided by AGP working president Phanibhushan Choudhury. In the meeting it was decided that each party would prepare its own list of candidates for the civic polls. The list would be prepared by the State president of each party in consultation with the district observers. Any dispute arising out of the list of candidates of both parties would be resolved by the State Coordination Committee. The Committee also expressed regret at the demise of BJP leader Bimalangsu Roy. source: The Sentinel
