President and general secretary of IOE elected

SILCHAR, July 13: Leading businessmen Anshu Kumar Roy and Gautam Dutta Choudhury have been elected as the new president and general secretary respectively of the Silchar Chapter Institution of Engineers (IOE). They are supposed to take charges in October, 2009. The executive committee of the premiere organization, in its meeting held recently, elected Roy and Choudhury for the posts. Silchar MLA Bimalangshu Roy’s death was also condoled in the meeting. SOURCE: THE SENTINEL
