So It's wrong propaganda that Bangladeshis do not allow Hindu to perform PUZAs. As far my knowledge goes, some of these Puzas are state sponsored as well. Especially the Dhakeswari Temple Puza. If only Hindus there are performing Durga puza, it also proves that Durga Puza is not the National Festival of Bengalis. Mejority of Bengalis are Muslims and they don't perform Durga Puza.

during pooja i was in bangladesh. i visited sylhet, chittagong, dhaka, pabna pooja those days. it was not like our silchar or kolkata pooja. most of the idols were braught from kolkata.
definitely i found a clear impression that the pooja was not a prime festival of the bengali as a whole. but was the festival of the minority hindu bengalis of bangladesh.

Because of Islamic fundamentalists, Hindus in Bangladesh could not perform durga puja like in Silchar, Kolkata, Agartala etc, nither Bangladesh Government nor any other organisations help minority hindus in Bangladesh. Pathetic situation prevails in Bangladesh for the Hindu comunity.
