SILCHAR, Sept 6: The Economics and Statistical Department under the Asom government have been entrusted with the task of conducting a sample survey on the non-profit organizations involved in social service.
The members of the Economics and Statistical Department will collect all necessary information from the officially enlisted number of organizations operational in the area and complete the task within the month of September. The officials and members of the concerned NGOs have been requested to provide information to the appointed members of the survey team and thereby strengthen the project undertaken by the Asom government and the Government of India.
