SILCHAR, Nov 25: Rajendra Bucha, proprietor of Hiltake, a franchisee of BSNL was arrested by Haflong police along with his three accomplices. Bucha was allegedly running a duplicate mobile SIM card racket.
The other three accomplices of Bucha were arrested by Haflong police includes Rupak Dey, owner of Pradip Enterprise, Raju Roy Phonglo, a sub-dealer and Newton Langthasa, an employee of Raju. All the three are from Haflong.
Sources said a team of Haflong Police picked up Bucha on Sunday from Silchar and on the basis of his confession, the other three were nabbed on Monday. They were produced at the Haflong Court and were sent to three-day police custody. Sources said the racket has been in operation for the last two and a half years. THE SENTINEL
