Indian Oil launches fuel awareness campaign
SILCHAR, Dec 3: In a bid to increase awareness about the quality of petrol and diesel among the general masses, the Indian Oil Corporation limited, Silchar, launched an awareness campaign titled “check and fill.” Banners and hoardings were displayed at conspicuous spaces inviting customers to learn how to check the quality and quantity of petrol and diesel before filling up their tanks.
Senior officials of the Indian Oil Corporation limited, who were present in the demonstration, explained to the people how to check fuel before using it. It was reported that the local people showed much enthusiasm to learn the techniques of checking fuel before buying. Sources said quality and quantity measuring equipment are available in all petrol pumps of Indian Oil and that customers could demand those equipment for ascertaining the quality of the product.
