Kohima, February 14 (MExN): The Army will be holding a recruitment rally for male candidates from all north eastern states for enrolment as Soldiers Technical in the Army.
Lt. Col. Nirupam Bhargava, PRO Defence in a release informed that Special recruitment rallies are being conducted at Kendriya Vidyalaya Masimpur (Silchar) from February 19 to 22 next and at Jorhat from March 27 to 29.
A minimum qualification of 12th standard with pass marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Computers is required. Candidates should not be less than 17 years and six months or more than 23 years as on the first day of the rally.
All volunteers should report to the venues along with original documents for a screening test to be conducted on the first day of the recruitment rally.
This will be followed by a common entrance exam to be held for candidates who qualify the screening test to be held at Kendriya Vidyalaya Masimpur (Silchar) on 22 February 22 and at Jorhat on March 29.
It was informed that the rally at Jorhat will be conducted as per new procedures wherein physical measurements, document checking and written exam will be conducted first.
