Lumding-Silchar gauge conversion work may be affected

NEW DELHI, Dec 2: Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav has today expressed his anguish over the bomb blast inside a train at Diphu in Karbi Anglong district today. Talking to the newsman here, Yadav said: “The State is experiencing recurrence of bomb blasts which may adversely affect the railway infrastructure.” According to him, the law-and-order situation in Asom totally collapsed, and Hindi-speaking are targeted in the State, but no action has been taken so far.
