Silchar April 7: Veteran CPM leader Nurul Huda said, AUDF president Badaruddin Ajmal may be a successful businessman, but in politics he has fared poorly. He termed Ajmal as an outsider in Silchar and condemned as having no knowledge of Cachar district. In Legislative Assembly, AUDF has ten MLAs but they never raised any issue related to the region.
Addressing an election rally here, Tripura’s Finance and Revenue Minister Badal Chowdhury said the Congress government failed miserably and criticised for not completing the Lumding-Silchar broad-gauge project. Insha allah, Mr. Ajaml will win. Unlike others, he is in politics to give something to the society rather than personal gaining.
