‘Save cow save India’: Sunil Mansingka

SILCHAR, July 13: In our country, where the people are dependant on agriculture and worship animals, particularly cows, animal wealth contributes to 10 per cent of the national income. But, with the increase in marketing of inorganic manure which is responsible for the degrading quality of fertile soil, use of organic manure, basically cow dung, is slowly diminishing from the agricultural scenario. Therefore, the Cow Science and Research Centre, Nagpur, Uttar Pradesh, has initiated a move to inform the public through media about the various uses of organic products that could be extracted from the cow. About 40,000 megawatt of electricity used is produced from cow dung. Ghee used in vedic sacrifices reduces the effect of atomic radiation, a ton of oxygen is released by burning a tola of pure ghee. A healthy cow can produce organic manure worth Rs 20,000 to last a year’s time, the urine of the cow contains many useful chemicals for human beings. Also, cow dung is composed of 16 beneficiary minerals which are useful for the human beings. But, these facts are sinking into oblivion. Therefore, Cow Science and Research Center secretary Sunil Mansingka in a press conference held at the RSS headquarters in Silchar recently appealed to the people to make the Bishwa Mangal Go-Gram Jatra a successful mission. He said cow’s urine enriches the quality of the soil. Pesticides and insecticides prepared from cow’s urine are also good for the soil as it does not have any side effects.

It is the high time that consciousness camps in villages should be organized to make the farmers aware of the usefulness of the cow. He stated that there are evidences of patients getting cured from cancer and other vulnerable diseases after taking cow’s urine. The Cow Science and Research Center has organized camps to train people in various places by setting up training centres where medicines would be prepared from cow’s urine and cow dung. He said the Bishwa Go-Gram Jatra would commence on September 28 from Kurukshetra and will terminate on January 17 next after reaching Nagpur at The Cow Science and Research Center.
