SILCHAR, Aug 13: At a time when the world is worshipping science, illegal practices of human sacrifice still exist in the remote areas of the country. One such incident was reported from Cachar when Arunachal police nabbed a sadhu from Cachar district who had allegedly kidnapped a seven-year-old boy, Jaydeep Das, a student of Anwarpur LP School, Phulbari, Ganirgram, studying in class II, yesterday in order to sacrifice him to God.
