SILCHAR, Oct 25: The ego clash between Excise Minister Gaurtam Roy and South Karimganj MLA Siddique Ahmed may create communal flare-up in sensitive Karimganj district, apprehends Biswarup Bhattacharjee, district BJP president. Maintaining that it is improper to make comment on the internal affairs of another party, Bhattacharjee said the BJP is only worried over the law-and-order situation in the border district as both Roy and Ahmed foment communal flare-up for their personal benefit.
Bhattacharjee said both Roy and Ahmed level allegations of rampant corruption against each other, and as such it has been proved that the government funds are misused by both of them. THE SENTINEL
