Three NE films to be screened in Vatavaran film festival

NEW DELHI, Oct 10: Three films from the Northeast will be screened in the fifth CMS Vatavaran, Environment and Wildlife Film festival, which will start from October 27 to 31 next at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

One of the films Sesh Asha (The Last Hope) will highlight the problem of floods and need for conservation of animals in the Kaziranga National Park. The film has been directed by Guwahati based film maker Dip Bhuyan.

The other two films to be screened in the festival are from Manipur. Loktak, The Lake in Peril is a Manipuri film dubbed in English directed by Rajkumar Robindro Singh. The other film Deer of the Floating Park to be screened in the festival has been directed by Thoudam Brajabidhu Singh. the sentinel
