JCB India Ltd. opened a dealer outlet in Silchar

Training centre for unemployed youths to be opened by JCB

SILCHAR, Nov 6: India’s largest construction equipment company JCB India Ltd. opened a dealer outlet in collaboration with its dealer Poddar and Poddar Equipment Private limited at Ramnagar (Chirukandi) in Silchar yesterday. The company announced its expansion in a press conference.

Members of JCB informed mediapersons present in the press conference that the dealership facility will be fully equipped with international standard of servicing for all JCB customers.

It was further stated in the press conference that an operator training centre was on the charts which would provide world-class integrated facility workshop. The training centre will also provide facility to unemployed local youths to train themselves for earning in the international standard of living.

During the last floods, the company had provided its machineries to clean the city and would come up with a bus stand in the Chirukandi area shortly, the officials said.

The press conference was attended by MD and CEO of JCB Vipin Soudi, executive vice-president, sales and marketing of JCB India, Arjun Mirdha, JCB regional manager Neeraj Chabra and Vivek Poddar. THE SENTINEL
