Mrintyunjoy service flagged off by Rumi Nath

Addressing the gathering, Dr Nath said it is the result of her persistent efforts and rapport with Health Minister Dr Himanta Bishwa Sarma that the ambulance could be made available for the backward people of the area. She was hopeful that it would meet their long felt emergency as well as regular medical care and needs.

Dr W Debashis Singh, health officer in charge of the community centre, appreciated the initiative of Dr Rumi Nath and said with her endeavour that more such ambulances would be put into service in the near future. The services of doctors, nurses and other medical staff would now be at the door step of the people of Borkhola from this mobile medical unit. THE SENTINEL
