KARIMGANJ, Nov 28: The Karimganj Nagarik Mancha (KNM) demanded immediate transfer of an allegedly drunken postmaster of Karimganj head post office along with two others in connection with an incident occurred recently.
Memorandums signed by Dr Manas Das, chairman of Karimganj Municipla Board, Ketaki Prasad Dutta, Ex MLA, Mahitosh Das, convener of Karimganj Nagarik Mancha, among others, was submitted to the Karimganj Deputy Commissioner and Karimganj Superintendent of Police demanding an end to police harassment on the retired teacher Karuna Shankar Bhattacharjee on the basis of a false FIR submitted by some culprits.
