Air Chief to visit Kumbhirgram Air Force Station

SILCHAR, Dec 18: Air Chief Marshal Pradeep Vasant Naik PVSM VSM ADC will be in Silchar on a two-day visit to Air Force Station Kumbhirgram on December 23, next. He will be accompanied by Air Force Wives’ Welfare Association president  Madhubaala Naik.

They will be received by station commander of the Air Force Station, Gp Captain TS Venkatesh VSM and Air Force Wives’ Welfare Association (local) president Shubha Venkatesh. The Air Chief would be presented with a ceremonial guard of honour by the Air Force guard’s contingent on his arrival. During his visit, the Air Chief will address air warriors and all personnel of the station and interact with the key appointments of the station. This will be his first visit to this Air Force Station after taking over as the chief of the air staff on June 1, 2009. THE SENTINEL
