SILCHAR, Jan 10 : An NGO named Bridging Life Ministry (BLM) was set up with the motto ‘reach, educate, aid and create hope’ at Namdailong village of Lakhinagar GP in the district of Cachar recently. Members who attended the function included G. Guangphul, coordinator of peace channel, Peren district Nagaland, Rev. Poukhan, pastor of Namdailong Baptist Church and Kabigai, organiser of BLM. Miss Gailu was the moderator of the launching ceremony which was well attended by church leaders, village headmen, intellectuals and social activists of the area. G. Guangphul addressing the assembly said that the NGO was to help the marginalized sections of society through its activities. He further said that the ultimate aim of the NGO is to utilise the youths for community and nation building. THE SENTINEL
