Two People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (Prepak) rebels were nabbed

Silchar, Jan 6 : Two People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (P repak) rebels were nabbed by the 11 Field Regiment of Red Sheild Division at Fulertal under Lakhipur police station in the evening of Sunday. Both have been identified as Ch Surajit Singh (26) and M Pandit Singh (21) of Tarakoon Sangbia under Moirang police station in the district of Bishanpur, Manipur. From their possession two mobile sets of Assam and Manipur network were seized, but no arms and ammunition were recovered. Both of them were later on handed over to Lakhipur police and then forwarded today to Silchar where they were produced before the CJM Court. THE SENTINEL
