Silchar sets to welcome Ramdevji
SILCHAR, Feb 14: The police parade ground of this town has been spruced up with massive pandal erected to accommodate the participants at the six day Yoga camp of Ramdevji, beginning from February 16. The camp would be conducted by Swamiji.
With just 48 hours to go for the final count down, there has been wide enthusiasm among people in general and Yoga conscious in particular. As a part of campaign for the Yoga camp for the first time in Barak Valley, the devotees and followers of Ramdevji today brought out a procession which went to the main roads of the town. The processionists held aloft posters and banners exhorting people in general to take care of their health through traditional yogic exercises and to become a part of the camp.
The organizers of the camp-Yoga Vigyan Samiti and Silchar Foodgrains Merchants’ Association-have said that BPL card holders would be provided free entry in the camp for Yoga.
They have been advised to contact with their cards at the office of the Yoga Vigyan Samiti at Silchar Football Academy premises.
Male and female participants have been advised to put on prescribed dresses for their convenience in exercises. The main thrust of Swami Ramdevji is to build up a healthy, fair and prosperous Bharat. source: the sentinel assam
