SILCHAR, March 16 – Most of the bureaucrats in Barak Valley have been reshuffled, but Deputy Commissioner, Cachar, Gautam Ganguli was retained in the same position.
Information received said Ganguli had not completed three years remaining only few days, which according to Election Commission rule can be retained. But it has been seen that reshuffling is done not considering this rule in most of the cases.
This issue has now become a public whispering considering forthcoming Lok Sabha poll. During panchayat election Ganguli had not shown so much of integrity in many cases. ASSAM TRIBUNE
