SILCHAR, May 7: All Barak Youth-Students Association (ABYSA) asked the Chief Minister to immediately arrange deployment of Central forces in the Hill section of the NF Railway from Lumding to Badarpur. ABYSA today gheraoed the office of the Railway Area Manager at Badarpur and handed over a memorandum to him to be forwarded to the Chief Minister.
ABYSA chief convenor Baharul Islam Barbhuiya urged upon the Chief Minster to deploy Central forces in the Lumding-Badarpur track within 48 hours, failing of which they would force the organization to launch a massive agitation. ABYSA further asked the State Government to take stern action against the militants who had attacked on the train forcing the NF Railway to disrupt train service in this section. THE SENTINEL
