Tibetans arrive with winter wears

SILCHAR, Nov 22: With the winter season round the corner, a sea of Tibetan faces can be seen descending down the towns to sell winter garments for all ages. This time, the Tibetan vendors have put up their stores on the grounds of the Dak Bunglow in Club road.

“As winter advances, we expect to draw more and more customers,” said Norma Sherpa. This is their annual sojourn to keep people warm with a variety of woollen wears at affordable prices. In fact, middle class and the poor eagerly wait for their arrival. THE SENTINEL
